    Searching for a job can be quite nerve racking. First you have searching the newspapers, creating a resume with cover letter to fit the job position and description and then there is searching all the job resources and job listing sites on the Internet. Just searching the Internet for job sites takes a long time let alone searching one site's database for available jobs. You can spend 8 hours at one site alone and miss out on all the other sites and no one site has all the jobs available. Capitalism and competition has made it impossible to find everything you need in one simple little package/web site. So, what do you do?
    Did you know that not every employer/hr department lists their positions on every job listing site? You could be missing a possible job placement simply because you don't have enough time to go through all the sites you need to.
    Here is a tip - Pick out a job listing site you want. List your resume in their database and then sign up for their Notification of Job Availability with the keyword you place in the sign up form, like Web Designer or Engineer or whatever position(s) you are looking for. Do this with about 10 or 15 selected sites. Then go back and search their database of available jobs. After awhile you'll be glad you did. You will see that getting an email notification saves lots of time and headache. After all, who has 30 hours a day to go through all those sites? Mostly it takes less time to search an email list of already selected job titles than it is to wade through their database list, page by page. Make sure the site has a privacy policy that will not sell your email address or other information to anyone else.
