These are the 128 colors that various organizations including the W3 Consortium have agreed to use as 'one-word' color identifiers in browsers.  You can see the differences in the colors and how they are NOT all true to what they should be.  For instance, Light Pink is darker than Pink and Chocolate should be the color of Saddle Brown and visa-versa.  These are the colors that various organizations including the W3 Consortium have agreed to use as 'one-word' color identifiers in browsers.  We put this, and Colorama, together for the student and novice to use as reference when designing a web page.  To keep this page handy, put this page as a shortcut on your desktop for easy reference while connected to the Internet. Although you do not need to use the Hex Code when using One-Word Colors, we have included it anyway for your information. Here we have a sample:
