Science has many fields of study.  None of which is based on speculation, speculation is inconclusive and has no evidence and science must have evidence to be conclusive.  That is not to say that the inconclusive evidence of a subject (i.e. the life of humans) is not science, it is science in the making with the gathering of evidence.  With the definition of Science, as stated above, especially number 4., we are all walking scientists of our own lives.
